It's been a long time since I've finished a painting so I am proud to present my first painting of 2012.  In all honesty, it is a present to my sister to celebrate her 1 year Anniversary to her husband (my brother-in-law).  Hope they have many many more years of happiness to come their way.  They vacationed in South East Asia for their honeymoon and their pictures inspired me to produce this landscape for them.  This is my first painting on a 12 x 24 inch canvas and I am liking the way you can get a lot of horizon into this particular canvas size.
