Something I have been meaning to do for a very, very long time is break out the DSLR and go on an adventure to 1) use the camera and 2) play with camera settings for some desirable shots. This past weekend, I was able to do just that. There is a bridge in Charlotte that has been on my radar for a while (as far as getting some skyline views) so I headed there Saturday evening to catch the sunset and then some early evening shots.

Overall, the night was a success. I still am playing with camera settings, but I made sure the bring the tri-pod in order to hold the camera as still as possible to get the light trail shots (car lights). Already looking for the next weekend to bring the camera and explore more parts of the city.
